A big THANK YOU to all the sewers and cutters for all their hard work! Without you we would not have Christmas stockings to give. Also, thank you to those who have knitted so many wonderful hats and other items!
Volunteers sew stockings from our pattern throughout the year. Our goal is to have 3,000 to 4,000 stockings available by October for use at the workshop and to place in locations throughout the community.
Our pattern keeps the stockings a consistent size and shape to hold the items we promise the agencies. If you prefer, we have precut stockings complete with written instructions. Our sewing committee has very knowledgeable people who will walk you through all the steps for sewing our stockings.
Cotton and cotton blend fabric may be donated throughout the year. Christmas prints and solid color materials are very much appreciated, but all prints suitable for making stockings for all ages are also wonderful.
Email email@example.com if you would be interested in volunteering to cut out and/or sew the stockings. Other sewing suggestions are also available. Knitters are always needed.
