Have your school, business, church or other community organization collect needed items.

• Set dates for your collection event - it can occur anytime during the year!
• Decorate a box in which the items will be placed – we can send you a sign and logo to place on it.
• Contact us for pickup of items or drop off locations.

Schools may want to have a “contest” between classrooms to collect the most items. If so, emphasize that all items must be new. Give points to the classrooms based on the items donated – more points for the items that are most needed. Please do not include used items.

Especially needed are small items for men and teen boys such as: wallets, key chains, movie and fast food gift certificates, bus passes, card games, umbrellas, food such as nuts and candy, 1 lb canned hams, small tools, handheld games, alarm clocks, or small radios.

For seniors, we need large print word search books, large print playing cards, gift certificates for grocery stores, rain bonnets, slipper socks, and stationary & stamps.

We don't currently need items for children ages  3-8, except for hats, gloves, shampoo and toothpaste, nor clothing items for infants.
